As we all know everyday is different for everyone.  Since i was little my parents install in us kids that to have a fulfilling day we always have to start it with prayers.  Am not saying it will be a perfect day, but at least you have dedicated your day into God’s hands.

That way if you happen to face any temptation is very easier for you to have a best reaction to it. “The body might be weak, but ones our mind and soul is strong we’ll definitely defeat/resist the shortcoming.”

I also use the same philosophy with my son. I was born and raised  catholic am not saying the other domination is not important, but everyone have their own belief.

Starting a day with prayers helps a lot even if is just saying Thank you Lord for waking me up this morning. I have worked in a lot of faculty in healthcare and know how important and how blessed we are to wake  up every morning and can be able to eat, walk around and smile.

There’re some in the hospital or even at their various  homes that are  struggling to eat, breath, etc. Praying to God to be healed so as to  be with families or even see the next day. When my Dad was diagnosed with cancer I remember how devastated  he felt. he worried about everything, his wife, his kids, his grand kids, and his business. This will be another topic “dealing with family illness”.

My Mom always say that whenever we’re done with Sunday service we should always head straight home to drop off the blessings we received from church before we go anywhere else. If not our blessings won’t go home with us because we have already discarded it everywhere except our own home. Mothers and their Philosopher. Guess what I stopped practicing that when I had a kid, have a job that requires me to work on Sunday( which am trying to stop…cant help it), have kids event to attend right after church, games, etc.  Have you heard something like this or is it just my mom that have that believe ?

Nowadays there’s a lot of bad news on the radio hurricanes, sexual accusations, people killing each other and all. I have a CD in my car I always put on to listen to if I have had enough of bad news for the day. Because if your mind is filled with bad news especially before you head to sleep that’s all you think about which sometimes can distract your peaceful night.

What I do before I go to sleep is pray and ask God to take out  my worries for the day away and put them under his feet so I can have a great night. I lay all my worries to he(God) that is the creature of all universal and pray for a good night sleep. Try it next time you have hard time sleeping. It works for me. One thing I will say is it might not work for everyone, but ones you make it a habit it will stick to you and you will start sleeping like a baby.

Few CDs I have in my cars for relaxation and motivational speaking is one from https://www.amazon.com/s?k=spiritual+motivational+CDs&ref=nb_sb_noss.

Always remember to be positive is hard to do, but is worth a try. https://www.louisehay.com/affirmations/

There’s a saying I like ” Take me(God) three times a day for pain relieve.” We also need our health medication, too. 🙂

Start and End your day with prayers.
